From: Shadang

Described by the television show eXtra as “Another fall fashion must have” is the extraordinary line of clothing created by Rafi Anteby for Shadang.  The designs on the clothing are striking, finding their basis in the creative art of Chinese monks, and there is deep-rooted meaning in every piece from t-shirts to sweats. Each piece is carefully designed coordinating color, Chinese messages of empowerment, and designs that are filled with healing empowerments that date back to ancient Chinese history. Colors have been carefully chosen according to the elements of nature, and reflective of the concept of yin and yang, there is a balance of extremes between color, nature, and meaning developed into every shirt. There is a shirt to satisfy your every mood, and to create balance and harmony in your lifestyle.

And it doesn’t stop with outer appeal.  The inside of the garments are also printed with messages of Chinese symbolism and explanations of their interpretations according to ancient Chinese healing arts.
Shadang’s clothing line is made up of carefully chosen, fine 100% cotton fabric which is then custom washed and dyed to strict specifications.  It is unbelievably elegant and luxurious against the body.

Shadang is a lifestyle company that was inspired by the two ancient martial arts and healing monasteries in China: Shaolin, known as the original kung fu monastery of the Buddhist people, and Wu Dang, which includes the internal arts such as tai chi and qi gong and is the home of the Taoist way of life. The empowerment and strength of the Shaolin warriors, combined with the softness and healing capabilities of the Wu Dang monks creates a perfect discipline.

The goal of Shadang is to raise awareness in the art of self healing, to be representative of the “complete balance” in oneself, both inside and out.  Our fashion line brings you awareness of the outer being, yet contains deep-rooted messages that effect one from deep within.  And our soon to be released instructional tai chi videos will serve to bring awareness to the entire being.
